Like doctor McCoy

Another piece of the world of Star Trek becomes reality: Dr. McCoy’s tricorder. It's called Scout and you have to put on the patient's forehead . In this way it can read a person's vital data , such as temperature and heartbeat, which are then transmitted to the smartphone 's doctor. Think about how many unnecessary hospitalizations can be avoided and how many lives saved in a timely manner. Investors believed in this wonderful invention: the startup that invented Scout has already collected 14.7 million dollars. Scout measure other parameters, such as breathing rate and oxygenation level (photo: Walter de Brouwer, the creator, showing the heart of the device). For now there is only one working prototype, which must pass the approval of the Food and Drug Administration, the American authority of the Food and Drug Administration . If Scout is ok for FdA, it will go into production next year and will cost $ 200 ( about 150 Euros ). I've always loved Star Trek, I felt that it was not just science fiction!
